John Jordan has been named as the Wentworth Military College Women’s
College Basketball Coach. He becomes the first college women’s basketball coach in school history. Jordan brings an impressive
basketball resume to Lexington. He has coached on the professional level both in the United States and abroad working with several current and former NBA and WNBA players. He has also served as an assistant coach on the NAIA level at both Huron University and National American University in South Dakota. As a high school coach he has won over 300 games. This includes a state girls title in North Carolina along with his 2006 Statesville Christian boy’s team capturing the NACA Division I national high school championship. Jordan’s high school teams have consistently been nationally ranked.
In the last eight years he has sent over 40 of his players to the college level including 30 to NCAA Division I programs.
