Kent State women’s basketball head coach Danielle O’Banion announced the addition of assistant coach Wyketha Harrell to her inaugural staff.
Harrell comes to the Golden Flashes after a five-year stint as an assistant coach at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). During her tenure, she aided with the team’s recruiting and post player development. Her responsibilities also included scouting reports, game preparation and academic monitoring of student athletes. Harrell served as the team liaison between the marketing staff, focusing on the team’s community involvement as well.
