Andrea Kendall has been selected as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Emory & Henry College, Head Coach Rose Katz announced today. Kendall comes to E&H after serving as the Head Girl’s Basketball Coach at Union High School in Rose Hill, N.C. In addition to coaching basketball and teaching, Kendall was the assistant softball coach.

Prior to her time at Union, Kendall spent five years teaching and coaching at South Johnson High School in Four Oaks, N.C. While there, she was Assistant Varsity Girl’s Basketball Coach, and Head JV Girl’s Basketball and Assistant Softball Coach. Kendall led her Lady Trojan teams to six regular season titles, two tournament championships and a state quarterfinal bid in softball in 2010. She began coaching at Sanford, N.C.’s East Lee Middle School as the seventh grade boy’s basketball coach, a team which went 11-1 en route to a conference championship.
