North Dakota State University head women’s basketball coach Carolyn DeHoff today announced that assistant coach Deanne Stevenson has resigned from NDSU to pursue opportunities outside of basketball.

Stevenson was named assistant women’s basketball coach in October 2010. She spent one month as director of operations before stepping into a vacancy on the staff.

Stevenson was a former player at the University of Utah when Coach DeHoff served as an assistant and associate head coach under Elaine Elliott.

Stevenson was a member of the 2006 NCAA Elite Eight team that lost to eventual national champion Maryland. She competed in four NCAA tournaments in her five years at Utah.
