Virginia Tech women’s basketball coach Dennis Wolff announces the addition of Bett Shelby to the women’s basketball program as an assistant coach.

Shelby most recently served as an assistant coach at Seton Hall for the past two seasons where she coordinated aspects of recruiting, scouted opponents and coached the guards. In 2012, Shelby helped sign a class ranked 33rd nationally by All Star Girls Report. The class featured the 19th best forward in the country as well as the 73rd best overall player in the 2012 class and a NJCAA All-American.
