DePaul head women’s basketball coach Doug Bruno announced the addition of Michael Fahey as the program’s video coordinator on Monday.
Fahey will handle the Blue Demons video exchange while working closely with DePaul’s coaching staff, student managers and other support staff.
A Chicago native, Fahey comes to DePaul after serving as the video coordinator for the Tennessee women’s basketball team the last two seasons. Managing the Lady Vols tape exchange and breakdown of practice and game footage, Fahey helped the Lady Vols to the 2012 Southeastern Conference Tournament Championship. Tennessee was also crowned the SEC regular season champions in 2013 and reached the NCAA Elite Eight during his two seasons.
Prior to heading to Knoxville, Fahey served as the video coordinator for the WNBA’s Chicago Sky in 2011. With the Sky, his duties included breaking down all games, film exchange and playing on the scout team in practice. Prior to his work with the Sky, Fahey was a video intern for the Chicago Bulls during the 2010-2011 NBA season.
