A standout Yellow Jacket during her playing days, helping Georgia Tech reach unprecedented heights in women’s basketball, Deja Foster has been promoted to assistant coach, head coach MaChelle Joseph announced Monday.
Foster finished her career in 2011 as half of the then-winningest class in Yellow Jacket history. Foster, who was hired as a graduate manager in May, earned her degree in business management from Georgia Tech in 2011. The Memphis, Tenn., native became just the second Yellow Jacket to ever receive the Charles T. Stoner Law Scholarship from the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.
