Midland University has named Shawn Gilbert as the next women’s basketball coach. Gilbert comes to the Warriors basketball program after spending the last four seasons at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as an Administrative Assistant under Head Coach Connie Yori. Gilbert will look to bring his extensive coaching and administrative background into a tough Great Plains Athletic Conference.
