In addition to his coaching duties, Robbins will serve as a student-athlete academic advisor, which coincides with his educational background. Robbins earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Manchester College and a teaching certificate from Indiana University Kokomo.

"We welcome Tom to the ‘Charger Athletic Family’. Tom fits in the Ancilla College Athletic Department because of his strong spiritual background and his standards for academics. He defines success in his program in order as excelling in academics, helping others, (community service) and athletic victories. Tom has coached basketball for over ten years at the high school level and is in contact with many coaches, which will help his recruiting efforts. His other important responsibility will be tracking male student-athletes academically in class attendance and homework submission.

Coach Robbins stated, "I am very excited for the opportunity to be a part of Ancilla College. I am also looking forward to the challenge we have ahead of us in developing the women’s basketball program into a conference leader and a premier program in Michiana."
