1-3 years of coaching and a bachelor’s degree is required. College coaching and recruiting experience is preferred. The Women’s basketball coach will be responsible for organization and administration of all aspects of the program with priority on planning and conducting effective practices, and identification and recruitment of qualified student athletes. The coach also will develop training and conditioning programs; schedule competition and team travel; fundraising, purchasing and budget management; academic, compliance and team conduct supervision; supervision of assistant coaches; representation of the college at the conference, regional and/or national level.The position does require other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and Wellness which could include teaching activity courses, game and facility management, or other administrative duties.
