Southwest Minnesota State University invites applications for a full-time athletic fixed-term Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach/Athletic Administration position to begin July 1, 2013. SMSU is located in the town of Marshall (pop.13,000) in southwest Minnesota. The Assistant Coach will be involved in all aspects of coaching responsibilities including recruiting, practice, organization, scouting, scheduling, trip organization and summer camps. The coaching responsibilities will be less than 50% of the position. Other job duties to be assigned may be in Game Management, Marketing and Promotions, Intramural Director or Weight Room/Fitness Center, or other assignments that reflect the expertise of the candidate. Position may include some budgeting and hiring/supervising student workers.
