exas Woman’s University, an NCAA Division II institution and member of the Lone Star Conference, is seeking applicants for a full-time Assistant Basketball Coach, a 12-month benefits eligible appointment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the head coach in all phases of a competitive basketball program in accordance with TWU, Lone Star Conference and NCAA policies, rules and regulations.
Duties include: recruiting, evaluating, coaching, coordinating scouting reports and tape exchange; breaking down game tapes; training and retaining qualified student-athletes; coordinating travel arrangements; monitoring of student-athlete academic progress; fundraising; and other duties as deemed necessary by the director of athletics. Work is performed within established policies and procedures under general supervision and performance is based upon completion of assignments and results obtained. The performance evaluation is conducted through the performance evaluation system and in accordance with the University Policies & Procedures.
