Kaskaskia College is seeking applications for the position of Head Women’s Basketball Coach / Instructor. This is a 12-month, full-time, Professional/Managerial position, eligible for fringe benefits. Salary range is $40,000 to $45,000 annually. Position responsible for all aspects of coaching and managing the Women’s Basketball program, along with teaching duties as assigned. Flexible schedule, including evening and
weekends required. Position requires a Master’s degree in a teaching discipline, along with five years of coaching experience. However, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and a commitment to obtain a Master’s degree in a teaching discipline within three years of hire will be considered. Also requires a demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the community college mission and philosophy, demonstrated understanding of and commitment to teamwork, process leadership, and consensus decision making, excellent oral and written and communication skills, demonstrated proficiency in organizing and planning, and excellent leadership skills. Also
requires a demonstrated commitment to supporting and participating in the overall athletic program, student activities and College events. Two years teaching experience and understanding
of NJCAA and Great Rivers Athletic Conference rules and regulations preferred.
This position will also have the opportunity to be considered for the extra assignment of Athletic Director, which will be a part-time, contractual position, paid by additional stipend
