Reporting to the Head Coach, the incumbent will assist with the successful administration of a highly visible NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball program. Duties will include: teach and develop sport specific skills; coaching strategies to enhance the athletic performance of student-athletes; assist with the success of team performance and eligibility criteria; assist in the monitoring and maintenance of academic progress of team members to enhance graduation rates; recruitment of quality student-athletes within the guidelines of the Code of Recruitment; assist with the enforcement of written team rules and expectations including on and off campus conduct; maintain records as necessary in support of NCAA policies, Conference and University rules compliance; generation and fund raising activities; cooperative interaction, as needed, with the Time-Out Booster Club, the general public and the media, while maintaining a professional attitude; support of the department’s equity and diversity commitments; and other duties as assigned by the head coach.
