The assistant women’s basketball coach is responsible for assisting with the recruitment and retention of quality student-athletes for the women’s basketball team. The assistant coach, in addition to all the requirements detailed in the Responsibilities and Duties section, is responsible to the head coach and will assist with all aspects of operating a DII women’s basketball program that adheres to the rules and regulations of Adelphi University, the Northeast 10 Conference and the NCAA while graduating quality student-athletes.
