The Department of Athletics has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. The incumbent will be responsible for carrying out assignments to assist in the coaching and management of the Women’s Basketball Team.

Essential Duties:
Assist with all aspects of the women’s basketball program; provides opportunities that challenge and support student-athletes to reach their full potential;
Support student-athlete academic and athletic excellence, leadership development and community engagement;
Adheres to and enforces all policies and procedures of the department and the University, as well as the rules and regulations of the NCAA, East Coast Conference, ECAC, and any other authorities that affect the intercollegiate athletic program;
Assist in team development including establishing goals, objectives, and values for the program consistent with mission of Athletics Department;
Assists in motivating student-athletes to perform to maximum levels;
Assists with the conditioning and training of team members in conjunction with the training; unit to ensure that student-athletes are physically prepared for competition;
Utilizes sound teaching techniques in the preparation of games and practices.
