Brad Zinn has been named as an assistant coach for the Salem University women’s basketball team.
Zinn previously was the recruiting coordinator and assistant women’s basketball coach at Highland Community College (Kan.) for three years. Throughout his time there, they complied an 80-10 record with a third-place finish in the NJCCA Tournament. They made two NJCCA Region 6 Championship appearances.
Zinn has coached five NJCCA All-Americans, five NJCCA Academic All-Americans, two NJCCA All-Tournament selections and two NJCCA WBCA All-Star participants. He has also coached a Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) Player of the Year and two KJCCC Freshman of the year.
Eight of the 14 players went on to compete at four-year colleges played at the NCAA Division I level. He has also had two of his player sign to play professionally overseas.
