Wisconsin Badger Head Coach Marisa Moseley adds Tanner Barnes as Digital Content Coordinator and Isaac Mills as graduate assistant to the staff.
TANNER BARNES
Digital Content Coordinator
Barnes previously spent five years as a videographer and Creative Director for HokieVision at Virginia Tech. In this role, he produced sports media material for social, in venue, and network outlets. During his time with the Hokies, the Virginia native was the lead videographer and editor for the women’s soccer and baseball teams.
“I am super excited to join Coach Mo and the rest of the amazing staff,” said Barnes.” When I first visited Madison I fell in love with the town, the atmosphere and the excitement of joining the Women’s Basketball Program. I am looking forward to helping this team reach its full potential in my time here at the University of Wisconsin. I can’t wait to get on campus to start telling the story of this team, while capturing the biggest moments of the season and documenting the support of our dedicated fans.”
At Wisconsin, Barnes will be responsible for telling the program’s stories through digital content. He will help manage @BadgerWBB content capturing and production in addition to the strategy and messaging with designated brand communication and marketing staff. Barnes will also work closely on recruiting for the Badger women’s basketball program.
“I am elated to welcome Tanner Barnes as Digital Content Coordinator,” remarked head coach Marisa Moseley. “His time at Virginia Tech enabled him to develop the skills necessary to showcase our program, the university, and this great city we call home. Tanner joins our staff in a role that is critical our program’s collective ascent to the next level! Badger fans please help me welcome Tanner to the Badger family!”
ISAAC MILLS
Graduate Assistant
Isaac Mills is no stranger to the Badger women’s basketball program as he was the team’s student-manager the last four years.
“I’m extremely excited and honored to continue with Coach Moseley and her staff here at Wisconsin,” said Mills. “Being here for four seasons as a manager, and two seasons with Coach Moseley, I truly believe in the direction this program is headed and can’t wait to learn even more from the entire staff the next two seasons.”
The Ripon (WI) native will be involved with all aspects of basketball aiding the coaching staff in practice preparation, scouting report creation, video breakdown in addition to other duties as assigned specific to the program. Mills is also enrolled in the Sports Leadership master’s program.
“I am thrilled to announce Isaac Mills as our graduate assistant,” stated head coach Marisa Moseley. “A native of Wisconsin, Isaac has dedicated himself to this program as a student-manager over the past four years. His commitment to showing up every day and contributing to anything that was asked of him has prepared him for this role and his coaching journey. He has earned this incredible opportunity and I am confident our staff just got better.”
