The Carthage College athletic department has begun a national search for the next women’s basketball coach to become the 16th head coach in program history.
The search began after Tim Bernero’s departure, effective after the 2022-23 season, which saw the team finish 9-17 overall and sixth in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) standings. “We, as a college, are very appreciative of Coach Bernero’s commitment towards the program over the past 20 years,” said Director of Athletics Ryan Kane. “We will forever be thankful for his service to the recruitment and development of all the student-athletes he coached.”
