Walsh University head women’s basketball coach and assistant director of athletics, Laurel Wartluft, has informed the University of her intention to leave her position at the end of her current contract to pursue other interests. Wartluft coached the Cavs the past seven years, with a record of 113-98. This past year, the Cavs finished 8-18 overall and 5-17 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. In 23 years as a head coach, Wartluft owns a career mark of 341-330.
