There are two finalists for the vacant head women’s job at Valley City State University (ND). The candidates are vying to replace Jill DeVries who resigned last month after 14 seasons at the helm. The final two are:

• Kevin Becker – Head coach Cal State San Bernardino

• Catherine Hanek – Head coach Miles Community College (MT)

Becker will interview next Tuesday, followed by Hanek on Wednesday. A decision is expected shortly after that.
