I blogged the other day that I have heard Northeastern head coach Daynia La-Force’s name mentioned surrounding the vacancy at the University of Rhode Island. Two other names have also popped up on my radar. They are:

• Jeff House – Former assistant coach Kentucky. Was just released this past month. Before joining the UK staff, he was an assistant with the WNBA’s Chicago Sky and New York Liberty, and also spent time on the staff at Virginia. House also worked as an assistant on the men’s side at UMass-Lowell, Jacksonville, and Rutgers.

• Jeff Osterman – Associate head coach South Florida. Just caped off his ninth season at USF. Also spent time as an assistant at Fordham, and the head coach at Central Florida CC (185-35 in 5 seasons).
