WHoopDirt.com has learned that the University of Rhode Island will name Stephanie Tobey as an assistant women’s basketball coach. She has spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Boston University. Tobey has previously worked at URI (2011-13) under former head coach Cathy Inglese, and also been an assistant at Fordham, Bryant, and Brown. A former player at Bryant, Tobey has also served as a DIII head coach at Lasell College and Lynchburg College. An official announcement is expected shortly.
