University of North Dakota head women’s basketball coach Travis Brewster rounded out his staff today, announcing the hiring of Drew Woods as assistant coach and the retention of Val Sussex (formerly Sannes) as director of basketball operations.

Woods comes to UND after having spent the previous six seasons as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Concordia University

Sussex returns for her second season as UND’s director of basketball operations. A native of Grand Forks, N.D., Sannes played for UND from 2004-08 and served as a team captain during the 2007-08 season.
