Austin Klumpe has been named assistant coach with the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women’s basketball team, UMHB head coach Lisa Curliss-Taylor announced today.

Klumpe comes to UMHB from Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma where he spent last season as an assistant coach for the Aggies women’s basketball program, helping lead the team to an 18-10 record. He also spent two seasons as a graduate assistant coach of the men’s basketball program at Emporia State University and served as a student assistant coach for the Emporia State women’s basketball team
