Brett Fink, who spent the 2011-12 campaign as the UCF women’s basketball program’s assistant director of operations, has been named an assistant coach for the Knights, head coach Joi Williams announced Thursday.
This past season, Fink assisted with the daily operations of the program, helping manage travel, expenses, video exchange and preparation and camps.
A 2003 graduate of UCF, Fink brings over 10 years of coaching experience to his new position. Prior to joining the UCF staff last season, Fink served as the head coach at Cocoa Beach Junior/Senior High School for five years, managing all aspects of the middle school, ninth grade, junior varsity and varsity teams.
Fink also has experience as the head coach and owner of Lady Hurricanes, Inc., an AAU travel program. From 2001-03, he served as an assistant men’s coach at Brevard Community College.
