Southwestern Community College has announced Steve Tussey of Orient will be the interim head coach for the Spartans’ women’s basketball team, effective immediately.

Tussey succeeds Brett Gilcrist, who has been had coach for the Spartans since 2010. Earlier this week, Gilcrist cited personal reasons for leaving.
