Quinnipiac head coach Tricia Fabbri earned her 400th career win as the women’s basketball team was able to use a second-half comeback to defeat the Siena Saints, 83-72, Sunday afternoon at the Alumni Recreation Center.

The win makes Fabbri the first female head coach in Quinnipiac Athletics history to win 400 games. The victory was the 16th straight for the Bobcats, improving their MAAC record to 15-0.

Fabbri is in her 23rd season at QU. Last season, her squad became just the fourth 12^th seed in NCAA Div. I Women’s Basketball Tournament history to advance to the Sweet 16. In that run included two wins over nationally-ranked teams in No. 25 Marquette (W, 68-65) and at No. 16 Miami (W, 85-78), marking the first two wins over ranked opponents in program history.
