Richard Thornton has been tabbed as the new Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Bunker Hill Community College.
Thornton has most recently served as the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Buckingham Browne & Nichols in Cambridge, MA (2014-18). The coaching veteran has also been the head coach at SUNY New Paltz, and worked as an assistant at Adelphi University, Springfield College, and Bard College.
He replaces who resigned due to family obligations back in late July.
Thornton’s Bulldogs are slated to open the 2018-19 season on November 1st when they host New Hampshire Tech.
