The four year reign of Texas Southern women’s basketball head coach Yolanda Wells-Broughton has come to an end. Coach Broughton resigned as head coach. In Broughton’s four seasons with the Lady Tigers, her teams have made the SWAC Championship Tournament three of her four years and they have been in the semi-finals twice (2010 & 2012). Broughton also produced the program’s first All-SWAC players since 2000.

A national search will begin for a new women’s basketball head coach.
