According to a report from the Grand Forks Herald, Lake Region State Head Women’s Basketball Coach and AD Danny Mertens has been placed on leave. The Herald reports that “the school released a statement saying Mertens was placed on leave with pay by school President Doug Darling. The statement, dated Oct. 31, says Mertens was
