D2 NEWS: Raymer out as Head Coach at Chadron State

 Janet Raymer will no longer be performing the duties as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Chadron State College, effective immediately, Athletic Director Joel Smith announced Tuesday.   “I want to thank Janet for her service,” Smith said. “I wish her success in her future endeavors.” Raymer coached the Eagles for seven years, compiling a record of 35-145.

D2 DIRT: Peatross steps down as WBB Head Coach at Salem University

Jessica Peatross has stepped down as the Women’s Basketball Head Coach at D2 Salem University (WVa). Peatross took over at Salem last May following a three-year stint at Delta College. In here only season at Salem, she led her squad to a 13-17 record. An official announcement on this move is expected shortly.

Huber named Head WBB Coach at D2 Eastern New Mexico

Blake Huber will be the next head coach of Eastern New Mexico women’s basketball. “Blake (Huber) has a tremendous coaching pedigree, which when coupled with his enthusiasm provides us a dynamic new leader of our Greyhound women’s basketball program,” said Director of Athletics Dr. Paul Weir on the hiring of the 10th coach in program history.
