Neighbors inks new deal at Arkansas

Arkansas head women’s basketball coach Mike Neighbors and the University of Arkansas have signed a new agreement aimed at securing Coach Neighbors’ leadership of the Razorback women’s basketball program through the 2028 season. Goldwire returns to Arkansas WBB staff

Head Coach Mike Neighbors filled Arkansas’ assistant coach vacancy with a familiar face, as Lacey Goldwire was named to the position on Monday, May 17. It will be Goldwire’s second stint on the Hill, as she also served on Neighbors’ staff for the first two seasons of his tenure as the head coach at Arkansas

Arkansas’s Early-Season Efficiency

The University of Arkansas Razorbacks are one of the few teams that have gotten off to a great start considering all of the turmoil surrounding this unusual season. Mike Neighbors’s Razorbacks are 7-1 and have played the most games of any team ranked in the Top 25. Statistically speaking, the Hogs are in rhythm, scoring 93.3 points per game while competing against two top-15 teams.

Arkansas Hires Assistant

Tommy Deffebaugh joins the University of Arkansas women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach, head coach Jimmy Dykes announced today. Deffebaugh brings 21 years of basketball coaching experience from a wide variety of institutions to the Razorback bench.  He has worked for 15 years as an assistant coach at University of South Florida, Western Michigan
