Suelzle retires at Williston State, Berg takes over

Tom Suelzle is retiring as Women’s Basketball Coach for Williston State. He will be replaced by Williston State men’s coach Hunter Berg. Suelzle’s run as the head coach of the Teton Women’s Basketball Team included two Region XIII Championships in 2009-2010 and 2011-2012, including a trip to the National Tournament in 2009-2010. He was the Mon-Dak Conference Coach of the Year in 2011-2012, and the Region XIII Coach of the Year in 2009-2010 and in 2011-2012. During an amazing 34-year coaching career, Suelzle finishes with a 578-210 overall record and was 74-51 during his four years at Williston State.

Berg, who is also the AD held the WBB job from the 2002-2003 season through the 2007-2008 seasons before taking over the Teton Men’s Basketball Team.
