Robin Rae Burns has stepped down as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Mississippi College, and Anesia McBride has been named to the same position. Burns has spent the last six seasons as the top assistant for Head Coach Paul Allen Duke. Over her six seasons, the Lady Choctaws compiled a record of 105-52, including going to the American Southwest Conference Tournament in each year. Joining the staff as the new top assistant will be former Lady Choctaw Anesia McBride. Over her two-year career, McBride played in 53 games, starting 29 for the Lady Choctaws. Anesia averaged 9.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 47% from the floor.
