First-year St. Francis College head women’s basketball coach John Thurston announced today that Nettie Respondek has been named assistant coach.

Respondek spent the last two seasons with the Columbia University women’s basketball team as an assistant coach under head coach Paul Nixon. Prior to her stint in Morningside Heights, Respondek held a similar assistant coaching position at Fordham University in the Bronx from 2006 through 2008.
