Sikora named Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Adrian College

The Adrian College Athletics Department has announced the hiring of Angela Sikora, who will take over the position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach.

Sikora comes to Adrian from The Evergreen State College, where she graduated in 2020 with a bachelors degree in Social Science. During her time as a student with The Evergreen State, the Washington native played two seasons for the women’s basketball squad. Upon graduation, Sikora moved into a full-time role working as an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach and as an Office Assistant of Parking Services at The Evergreen State.

In her role as Assistant Coach, Sikora inspired and empowered a team of approximately twelve student-athletes each season, fostering a culture of dedication and excellence both in practice sessions and during competitive games. She also orchestrated practice schedules and individual training sessions to adequately prepare athletes for upcoming games, ensuring they were equipped with the skills and mindset needed for success. Sikora monitored safety of training, individual exercises, and equipment usage to minimize the risk of sports injuries and damage to the facility, as well as playing a pivotal role in team management and coordination during travel, meticulously organizing travel logistics, managing receipts, and adhering to a structured travel itinerary to optimize team efficiency and performance.

Sikora joins Sam Miller ’10‘s staff effective immediately.
