Binghamton athletics will make a leadership change within the women’s basketball program, the school announced on Friday. The University and Head Coach Bethann Shapiro Ord have agreed to part ways after six years.
“We want to thank Coach Ord for her service to the University and our women’s basketball program,” Director of Athletics Eugene Marshall, Jr. said.
Shapiro Ord has 34 years of Division I coaching experience.
A national search for her replacement will begin immediately.
