Santimano will not return as Head Coach of Bowdoin Women’s Basketball

The Bowdoin College Athletic Department has announced that Sacha Santimano will not return as head coach of the women’s basketball program.
 
Santimano led the Polar Bears to a 16-9 record and NESCAC First Round appearance during the 2021-22 season and will depart Bowdoin due to family health reasons.
 
“I am grateful for the positive contributions Sacha made to our community during her time at Bowdoin,” said Ashmead White Director of Athletics Tim Ryan. “I look forward to following her success in the future.”
 
Bowdoin will begin an immediate search for her replacement.
