According to a tweet by Fox 26 Sports Director Mark Berman, Prairie View A&M will name Sandy Pugh as their new women’s basketball head coach. She would replace Ravon Justice who became the head coach at Sam Houston State back on April 18th.

Pugh has spent the past seventeen seasons at Southern. This past season, she was named as the SWAC Coach of the Year as she led her Jaguars to a 17-13 record, and a WNIT appearance.
