According to a report by the Missourian, Stephens College has dismissed head women’s basketball coach Joshua Steffen.
Steffen told the Missourian that he was “blindsided” by the move. He added, “I’m proud of the work we did there. I’m crushed and hurt by the way it ended. I did the best I could, we did the best we could as a program, I believe we did the right things, and I’m proud of how we stood up for our players.”
In his three seasons at the college, Steffen compiled am 11-63 record (1-13 this season). He has also served as the head coach at Concordia Ann Arbor, and Concordia Chicago.
