Jasmyn Patterson has joined the Randolph-Macon women’s basketball program as an assistant coach.
Most recently, Patterson was a graduate assistant coach of the varsity team, as well as the head coach of the junior varsity team, at Tusculum University. At Tusculum, Patterson served as the Director of Player Development as well as the Director of Scouts.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jasmyn Patterson to our women’s basketball staff,” said head coach Lindsey Burke. “Her welcoming personality accompanied with her love for the game and working with student-athletes shined through in the interview process. She will be a great addition to our Yellow Jacket program.”
Prior to being on staff at Tusculum, Jasmyn spent a year as an assistant women’s basketball coach at Orange County Community College. During that time, she was also an AAU coach and a Player Development Coach at Gymratz Performance in Orange County, New York. She began her coaching career as a women’s basketball intern during her final year at Coker University.
Patterson attended Orange County Community College for two years before attending Coker University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2020. She proceeded to get her Masters of Sport Management from Tusculum University.
