Annette Reiter, a 20-year coaching veteran, has been introduced as the head coach of the Penn State Abington women’s basketball program. Reiter joins the Nittany Lions after completing her third season as Rowan University’s assistant coach in the spring of 2012. She led the Owls to a 39-36 overall record with two NJAC conference championship seasons, producing four NJAC All-Conference players. Prior to arriving at Rowan University in 2009, Reiter started her coaching career as the girls’ basketball varsity assistant and junior varsity coach for her alma mater Gloucester Catholic High School from 1991-1997. She served as the girls’ basketball head coach at Glassboro High School from 1997-2000. Reiter was the head coach at Bishop Eustace Prep from 2000-2005. While at Bishop Eustace, the team won the 2002 Parochial B Division State Championship.
