Eureka College Athletic Director Sara Shaw has announced the hiring of Isaiah Pace as the 15th head coach in the history of the Red Devils women’s basketball program.

“We are excited to welcome Coach Pace to the Red Devil community,” Shaw Said. “He has a passion for the game of basketball as well as the development of student-athletes; he will be a great fit for our institution and will be a solid leader for our students on and off the court. He is a go-getter and is ready to hit the ground running. Our program is in good hands, and we are excited to watch where he takes our Women’s Basketball team.”

“I’m honored to return to my roots as the new head women’s basketball coach at Eureka College,” Pace said. “As an Illinois native, it’s special to lead a program in my home state and build a culture of excellence on and off the court.”

Pace brings over 14 years of coaching experience across the basketball landscape, including collegiate programs, professional scouting, AAU circuits, and youth development initiatives.

His professional experience includes working with the Orlando Magic as a Summer League scout and coaching official team tryouts for the NBA G League’s Texas Legends. In the collegiate ranks, he has contributed as an assistant coach at Dallas Baptist University, assisting with recruiting, player development, and strategic planning.

At the high school level, Pace served as Athletic Director and Head Boys’ Basketball Coach at Holy Redeemer Catholic School, where he led the program to a perfect season and a Diocese Varsity Boys Championship.

In addition, he has directed grassroots development efforts through the Jr. Magic League, a youth basketball initiative in partnership with the NBA’s Orlando Magic.
