Alycia Gervais has announced she is stepping down as the Dean College women’s basketball head coach.
Gervais will become a women’s basketball assistant coach for Wagner College. The Seahawks are a member of Division I and the Northeast Conference.
“I want to thank Dean College for the experiences and opportunities that were provided to me,” said Gervais. “I am glad I was able to be a part of The Dean Difference and I wish nothing but the best for the team moving forward.”
Gervais served as the head coach of the Bulldogs for three years. In each of the two playing seasons, she guided the Bulldogs to an appearance in the New England Collegiate Conference postseason. Gervais coached a 1,000-point scorer, a pair of all-conference first team selections and several conference weekly award winners.
“I would like to thank Alycia for her service to our women’s basketball team,” said Director of Athletics George Martin. “I am grateful for her dedication to the student-athletes and wish her well in the next step of her coaching career.
