I mentioned this earlier today in my blog. Just wanted to pass along the press release now that it is official….

Fresno Pacific Director of Athletics Dennis Janzen has announced that Erin Scholz will be leaving her post as head women’s basketball coach after three seasons with the Sunbirds.

During Scholz’s tenure the Sunbirds posted an overall record of 26-60, a .325 winning percentage. This season the team finished with a record of 4-21.

Scholz came to FPU in the summer of 2010 after three seasons as an assistant coach at Utah State. She was an NCAA Division I All-American as a player at the University of Colorado from 1993-97.
