Following up on something that I tweeted yesterday….
Sounds like Chicago State opened on the women’s side. Heard Greg Ray already named interim HC there.

Chicago State has made it official and announced that Misty Opat is no longer the Cougars head women’s basketball coach. The university released the following statement:
Chicago State will begin a search for a new women’s basketball head coach, as Misty Opat will not return, as announced by Chicago State athletics director, Elliott Charles.
“We thank Misty for her hard work and wish her well in all of her future endeavors.”
Assistant coach Gregory Ray will serve as interim head coach. Chicago State will begin a national search immediately.
In her two seasons at CSU, Opat went 3-55. Before her tenure with the Cougars, she won four NJCAA D3 National Championships as the head coach at Rock Valley College (IL).
According to reports, Opat will be returning to the JUCO level and take over as the women’s basketball coach at Cochise College (AZ). More on this when it becomes official.
