I have now heard from three separate sources that former Minnesota head coach Pam Borton is the leader at Northeastern. She had spent 12 seasons as the head coach at Minnesota before being dismissed this spring. Borton is no stranger to New England, she was the head coach at Vermont from 1993-97 (69-46) and was also spent five seasons as an assistant and later the associate head coach at Boston College. I have heard that we could hear something as early as Friday.
