Northern Kentucky University women’s basketball head coach Dawn Plitzuweit announced Monday that she has hired Lynn Plett, Karmen Graham and Courtney Boylan as assistant coaches.
Plett served as the head coach at Missouri Western State University the past five seasons and helped rebuild the Griffons’ program. Prior to Missouri Western, Plett was the head coach at Lewis for five years and led the Flyers to the Great Lakes Valley Conference championship in 2007.
Graham, who served on the Norse coaching staff last season under retired head coach Nancy Winstel, played at NKU from 2003-07 and scored 1,088 career points. As a junior, she earned honorable mention All-America accolades from the WBCA after averaging 14.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
Boylan, a four-year letterwinner at the University of Michigan, averaged 12.7 points per game as a senior and earned Big Ten Conference honorable mention accolades last season. She also averaged 32.1 minutes per contest and scored in double figures in 25 games last season as Michigan advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
