NC State women’s basketball head coach Wes Moore announced Thursday the hiring of Gene Hill as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Wolfpack Women. Hill spent the last five years at Georgia Tech as an assistant coach and director of operations.
Hill, who will work with the Wolfpack guards, was a key contributor to the most successful five-year stretch in Georgia Tech women’s basketball history. From 2009 to 2012, the Yellow Jackets made four-consecutive trips to the NCAA Tournament, including the program’s first Sweet 16 appearance in 2012.
